Callahan may have some sexist attitudes, but does this mean his comic should be cancelled from the magazine, as suggested in earlier letters?
I'm sick of this "Let's hang the alternative artist thing because they don't confirm and reaffirm every belief."
Cartoonists can learn a lot from readers' constructive criticism, but suggestions to "can" Callahan are a pretty harsh sentence.
At least Callahan is honest, which is more than I can say for a lot of the boring, watered-down stuff out in the world today. If you want to do something about sexism, go picket the strip clubs.
